In the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, people across the country mobilized to volunteer whatever time, talents, and resources that they could. Social workers were among the very first to respond to the crisis.
In an effort to streamline response time and to provide timely information, an ad hoc NASW-Virginia Committee, the Aftermath Task Force, compiled the following list of disaster response links.
